Snow Squad Junior (Ages 5–6)

Snow Squad Junior is our seasonal program designed specifically for children ages 5–6. At this age, young skiers benefit from smaller group sizes, patient instruction, and an encouraging learning environment that balances skill development with fun.
Throughout the season, participants build confidence, improve their skiing abilities, and make lasting friendships while enjoying weekly instruction from experienced coaches. Children are grouped by ability whenever possible to ensure everyone progresses at a comfortable pace.
As participants gain confidence throughout the season, they will begin exploring chairlift-served terrain with the guidance of their instructor.

Schedule
Participants register for either the Saturday or Sunday program and remain on their selected day throughout the season.
Saturday: 1:15 PM – 3:15 PM
Sunday: 9:15 AM – 11:15 AM
Dates for the King Pine Snow Squad Junior program runs weekly from Saturday, January 2 OR Sunday, January 3, 2027 to Saturday, February 27 OR Sunday, February 28, 2027. There are no King Pine Snow Squad programs on February 13 or 14.
Good to Know
Program is designed for children ages 5–6.
Participants should be able to remain engaged for approximately 2 hours with minimal breaks.
As participants progress, they may begin riding the chairlift. Parents should be aware that children may ride the chairlift with their instructor, another program participant, or another responsible adult when appropriate.
Lift access and rental equipment are not included.
A valid lift ticket or season pass is required for every participant.
Participants should arrive ready to ski at the Snowsports School meeting area 15 minutes prior to the scheduled lesson time.
Parents may be asked to provide proof of age before the program begins.

Programs meet weekly for 9 consecutive weeks (excluding scheduled holiday breaks).
Current season dates and program pricing will be posted prior to registration opening.
Lift tickets, season passes, and rental equipment are sold separately and are not included with the program fee.
Participants are grouped by age and ability whenever possible to provide the best learning experience.
Snow Squad is designed to promote long-term skill development, confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of skiing in a fun, supportive environment.
